What is the difference between remote and on-site support?

Remote support is the quickest, most seamless way for our support team to remotely take over your device to resolve any issues you may be experiencing. All you need is our remote access software and an internet connection. Sometimes problems can't be resolved remotely and would require an on-site visit from one of our engineers, this can be anything from a hardware related issue to the installation of a new printer.

How do I decide if remote support or on-site support is best for my business?

If you were to opt for IT Support, remote is essential as it can come in handy more often than you might expect, and as all of our support packages include unlimited remote support why not utilise it! Combing this with on-site support as well can beneficial because although remote support can be used to resolve most software issues, any hardware related issues, installations or diagnosis or will need to be done in person, therefore requiring on-site support!

Would I benefit from both remote and on-site IT support?

The main reason our customers opt for a package containing on-site visits too is to avoid any call out charges should you need an on-site visit from our engineers. If you do not end up needing this, your subscription can always be revisited!
